Uh-oh, this is the weather for tomorrow. Not used to these rain showers every other day from past caminos.

Notable memories

Today's conversations with Jesús along the way were really interesting and made for a good walk. Jesús does not speak English so we did the conversation in Spanish which made me feel good about my ability to understand him and relate back cogent points.

Although we covered a lot of territory, I can say that we talked about living life, loving love, the heart breaks and the celebrations, the ups and the downs of life in this world and what a relationship
 means. An amazing day.

Our talks made me realize how important decisions I've made in the past about relationships either come / came back to hurt or  haunt or to help, but in the end the decisions we make and the decisions we made are the events that help us to find out who we are.

Had a fun drink with Jesús after everyone got all settled in. Then joined the ladies for a fabulous meal of  Serrano jamon on toast and scallops on the shell with an iberica and onion dressing.

All tucked in for the big day tomorrow. Arriving in Santiago de Campostela.

In the light of dawn, I passed by this church sitting on the far side of the cornfield.

Had I judged this church by its facade, I would not have stopped in to see how beautiful it was on the inside.

Jesús, being Jesús, takes a lot of pictures.

Since it was raining, we stopped for a quick rest break in a bit of lunch. Tortilla and bread.

What an odd looking pilgrim!

A great dinner Tonite. Claudia (Germany), me, Ingrid (Germany) and Mary Kate (USA).
Claudia and Ingrid are twins.
