Notable memories
Owing to wanting to cover some distance in order to get within striking range of Santiago, today was a long day of 15 miles. By the time the day was over, I was tired but also I was able to be proud of the fact that I kept trucking right along and I got the day's distance done.

After four hours of ascension, it was odd to see straight out to the horizon.

After spending the entire morning in one set of climbs after another, the view from the top was worth it.
A small hamlet had the most intriguing public at display.
A nice tree lined and shady trail at about 14 miles into today's home.
Jesús, me and a young Ukrainian man at dinner. Had an amazing pasta dish with shrimp, mushrooms and some kind of tiny eel. It was the only meal that I had today. Everything else was snacks.
